Italy takes center stage at the Summer Fancy Food 2023
In the first quarter of this year, the Italian agri-food sector, together with the beverage sector, recorded a significant increase of 40.7% in exports to the United States.
This result is in line with the overall increase in exports to the USA, which in the same period reached +12.9%, confirming positive signs for the Italian economy.
The ICE Agency brought together under its banner all the Italian companies present in New York at the end of June on the occasion of the Summer Fancy Food.
The Italian Pavilion represented the largest exhibition space, covering an area of over 30,000 square feet, with the participation of over 300 Italian companies, becoming the focal point of the international area of the fair. The ICE Agency has also promoted an educational communication activity aimed at combating the phenomenon of Italian sounding.
During this initiative, at the Taste It Live space, food and wine products from Italian companies, consortia and regions were presented and offered for tasting.
In addition, the stand of Coldiretti – Filiera Italia, in collaboration with ICE, hosted numerous show-cooking and debates, creating a dynamic and engaging atmosphere throughout the duration of the fair.
