📌 Italian exports grew from 480 billion in 2019 to 626 billion in 2023 despite the pandemic and war conflicts. It is the strength of a brand, that of the hashtag#MadeinItaly, which entrepreneurial ability has been able to build over time.
The key role of foreign capital companies in Italy was the theme at the center of the second Annual Meeting Advisory Board of Foreign Investors of Confindustria. The meeting, which was held in Rome at the auditorium of the Luiss Guido Carli University, was attended by the Minister of Business and Made in Italy, Adolfo Urso, Luigi Gubitosi, President of Luiss Guido Carli and Barbara Beltrame Giacomello, President of ABIE and Vice president for internationalization of Confindustria.
🗣️ Matteo Zoppas President of hashtag#ICE: “Foreign companies are interested in the Italia brand because over the years we have been able to build an unparalleled manufacturing reputation. A heritage that we must protect by giving the right value to the entrepreneurial ability and creativity that allow us to differentiate our products and make them better than others. Only in this way do we remain competitive and attractive for foreign investors. Given the strong critical issues experienced in recent years, we must applaud the resilience that Italian entrepreneurs have shown in facing, often risking themselves, constantly changing contexts”.
Thanks to the activities of the 23 Desks for attracting foreign investments, in the last 4 years the ICE Agency has intercepted over 300 operators interested in investing in Italy. In 2023 alone, 5 investments by large companies were finalized with the creation of almost 1,000 jobs.
