La San Marco 1920 Espresso Coffee machines & Cucinamatte 2020: “Italian espresso specialty mission” in Mexico.
La San Marco has reached an agreement, through its local distributor, with Cucinamatte to support the brand’s commercial development in Mexico. An important partnership, which establishes the collaboration between the two realities, aimed at the promotion and enhancement of the entire coffee supply chain, as well as the development of the Italian historical brand on Mexican territory.
Synonymous with espresso machines and founded in 1920 in Gradisca D’Isonzo, Norher, La San Marco is a world reference point for those who demand the best from tradition and innovation.
The evolution over time of its machines is marked by the many models that have left their mark for their unique qualities and is the history of an Italian reality that has successfully exported the great tradition and passion of espresso all over the world and that today, through a consolidated organization and an efficient commercial network, has guaranteed a stable place at the top of the sector.
Cucinamatte, a brand registered in Mexico City in 2020, in the midst of a pandemic, was born as a gourmet bazaar with home delivery that offers a wide choice of food and drinks 24 hours a day. With a single box, customers can live a unique culinary experience in the comfort of their own home. Cucinamatte also uses the “NONNAANNA” method for the preparation and delivery of its products, guaranteeing their quality and freshness.
The study and maniacal investigation of the entire coffee supply chain culminated in 2023 with the presentation at the SCA EXPO in Portland (April 2023) of the main product of the Cucinamatte brand: a mixture of selected specialties, as per the product description by an Italian who has lived in Mexico for years (the founder) and who had the opportunity to travel and taste the main “coffee countries” in Central/South America, driven by a great passion: “a good coffee”, an endless search for perfection in coffee. “De la Finca a la taza” : from the plantation to the cup. To the espresso cup, in fact.
Last January 2024, the first “flagship store” was inaugurated in Mexico City, in the central San Rafael neighborhood: Cucinamatte ’82. It is precisely a specialty coffee shop and a “versatile” kitchen, where, together with the support of La San Marco, specialized training courses will be organized in the preparation and service of coffee, including knowledge of the different mixtures and how to prepare the cup. Soon it will also become a micro roasting.
The collaboration between the two parties aims to improve the promotion of source coffee, promote the consumption and knowledge of quality coffee, promote the traceability of coffee and encourage the production of virtuous coffees in a context of environmental sustainability.
